Launch of the Urban Data Management Programme

The 3-day Urban Data Management Programme equips city officials, planners, and data professionals with practical skills to manage and apply urban data for smart, sustainable, and resilient cities. The course addresses collaboration gaps between public servants and statisticians, and covers fundamentals of urban data, governance, ethics, AI, IoT, and national-city integration. Participants will learn to design and evaluate data-driven initiatives, strengthen evidence-based policymaking, and safeguard privacy. The programme integrates case studies, interdisciplinary frameworks, and curated site visits e.g., URA, LTA, Punggol Digital District (PDD) to demonstrate real-world applications and anticipate future urban innovation trends.
